Laura Clayton is a stylist and costume maker who started her career in fashion and design journalism. Having reported on creative talent for titles such as the Sunday Times Style, Man About Town, 125 and Grafik, creating fanzines for like likes of Nicola Formichetti and McQ along the way, she decided to put her design expertise and substantial vintage collection to good use as a wardrobe and props stylist.

She has since worked extensively in the music industry, styling bands such as Metronomy, Best Coast and the Kaiser Chiefs; as well as fashion films, advertising, events and short films. Her skills include machine and hand sewing, pattern cutting, alterations and costume and prop sourcing.
